Dr. Eichel founded the Children’s Dental Center of Atlanta in 1969 based on the principal that ALL kids, EVERYWHERE, deserve the best dental care available. This belief has led Dr. Eichel and our team to open 6 locations around the Atlanta Metro area, allowing us to provide treatment to children in areas where they might not otherwise receive it. Why we are different from other dental offices ALL of our dentists are Certified Pediatric Dentists! Currently, The Children’s Dental Center of Atlanta is home to 15 Pediatric Dentists. Pediatric Dentistry is the specialty of dentistry that focuses on the oral health and unique needs of young people. After completing four years of traditional dental school curriculum, two to three additional years of rigorous training is required to become a pediatric dentist. This specialized program of study and hands-on experience prepares pediatric dentists to meet the unique needs of your infants, children, and adolescents, including medically compromised children with special health care needs.
